How Can I Run a Tight Ship When I'm Surrounded by Loose Cannons?: Proverbs 31 Discoveries for Yielding to the Master of the Seas

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

The perfect woman – excellent wife, cherished mother, impeccable housekeeper, and thriving entrepreneur – all rolled into one.  The Proverbs 31 woman looms large for Christian women today.  Getting it all together.  Keeping everything under control. Running a tight ship.  But despite our best efforts it seems there are always loose cannons rolling around the deck.

MY REVIEW
The Proverbs 31 woman... why if my husband was married to that perfect woman, life for him would be... boring! There'd be no need for him to sigh when the sink if full of dishes, for the third day in a row, with some of the same dishes! He'd never have to do a load of laundry, or ask me to iron his shirt for work the next. He'd never have to eat a burger from a fast food joint or rearrange the budget to pay for the extra outings me and the kids took last month... where is the fun in that!!?!?

All kidding aside, Kathi has done an excellent job (once again!) helping moms everywhere turn there eyes off the raging sea and sliding cannons, and put them on the one who created the sea and knows the purpose of each cannon on our ship.

Kathi not only had me laughing out loud, she encourages my heart with her personal stories and challenged my spirit with each 'Making It Personal' section that wraps up most chapters.

Kathi reminded me of a lot of things that I already knew, rekindled desires that I had in the past and sparked new desires for the future as I was challenged with this walk through crawling, walking, running, flying and leaning.

The basis I personally walked away with and was reminded can be summed up in John 3:30~
I must decrease so the HE may increase!
